Our Demo Team Rocked the Asian American Festival!
On Saturday, we attended the Asian American Festival at North Hempstead Beach Park. The rain held out for this exciting event represented by seven countries. There were cultural performances, vendor booths and exotic foods!
Our Demo Team made their 2022 debut, and they wowed the big audience- See our pictures (compliments of Soojin and Dan) on Facebook, Instagram and the website. We received many compliments on the performance and comments on the talent of each member from yellow to black! We are very proud of our dedicated team. Next stop- Harborfest!
Promotion Test is Saturday May 21st
Students who are scheduled to test should have received their group time and zoom link. Please keep an eye out for the test reminders and details email-
Master Mack will hold a belt review class tomorrow at 6:15-7:00. This is a run- through only- not a lesson- so please practice your poomsae and don’t miss your classes this week.
Raffle for Ukraine
We will announce the winner this week! If you still want to support this cause with a donation for raffle tickets, there’s still time. Our goal is to raise $1000 for Saint Vladamir’s Ukranian Church relief efforts. The prize is a Blue Moon Birthday Party (value $595).
Tickets are 1 for $10, 3 of $25 and 10 for $50. Cash, check or Venmo to @Helen-Oh-10 (pls indicate for: Ukraine Donation) and we will put your name in the jar.
Friendship Festival is June 18th Everyone should sign up for this opportunity to participate in this introductory experience to a competitive tournament with the masters and students of Strong Martial Arts and NYBBC.
Bring the family to be a part of this wonderful TKD afternoon. Deadline to sign up is June 1st so all awards and other preparations can be made in time!

-MAKE UP CLASSES It’s time to get your make up classes completed. All makeups for this school year expire on September 1st. TKD -We offer a very lenient and extended make up time period because we really do want our champions to attend their classes. Our only requirement is that students must have an active membership at the time of their makeups. If you need assistance, booking a class, please let us know. Cyclones- If you have missed any classes, you have the option to sign up for an age and level appropriate TKD class. Please contact us to find the best class that works with your schedule.
