Master Helen is the owner-creator of Blue Moon Martial Arts.

She began her TaeKwonDo training as an adult with three kids.

As a 4th dan black belt, Master Helen passionately believes in the practice of martial arts and mindfulness as a balanced way of life for all ages.

Her mission for the Champions of Life program is to give others a place to build their own sense of “MePowerment” to reach their personal potential, overcome difficult challenges and become upstanders not bystanders in life.

Master Steven brings over 40 years of experience to the Champions of Life program. In addition to holding a 4th dan black belt in TaeKwonDo, he is also a black belt in Karate, a former MMA fighter and trainer AND former gymnast. His other areas of experience, include Hapkido, JuiJitsu, Kali and Capeoira.

Master Steven has appeared in martial arts films and has trained students for competition and stunt actors for films and shows such as Black Panther and The Punisher.

Through the teachings of martial arts, he strives to empower students by helping them step out of their comfort zone and make their practice a defining influence in all aspects their lives.

Master Moon graduated from Korea National Sports University and then competed on a professional team for 2 years. He holds a 5th dan black belt in TaeKwonDo and is an international medalist in sparring.


Master Moon is dedicated to building the foundation of respect, self-discipline and focus of both the body and mind of each student.  He firmly believes this is most important in the development of self-confidence and strength of character, while the mastering of skills will naturally follow.

Master Mack was born into TaeKwonDo, He is the grandson of Grandmaster Park Jung Kil, and holds a 4th Dan Black Belt.


As the most “youthful” member of our core team, he pushes our students to reach for the next level with his structured teaching and inspires them with his spectacular demonstration skills.


Master Mack is well-known outside the dojang as well, bringing the Champions of Life program to several pre-school and afterschool programs in the community.

He most recently assumed the manager position at the dojang, where he ensures that the administrative duties and specific needs of every student are addressed so our program can run smoothly for all.
