Skill of the Week is Poomsae and Discipline
Monday 1/3/22
~TKD Classes resume as scheduled Monday 1/3/22.
~Open acrobatics classes tomorrow at 4:15 and 5:15pm. We have just a couple of spots in each class if you would like to join. Please email us with the class time. Cost is $40 (current Cyclones $30). Open to all 6-11 years.
Upcoming events
MLK Day Martial Arts Workshop on 1/17/22- For ages 6-12 years.
Join us for a fun afternoon from 12:15-2:45PM for special instruction in Capoeira,
self defense, weapons and board breaking plus our kicking competition!
Cost $65 LIMITED spots.
MLK Day Open Acrobatics classes- Anyone 6 years and up who is interested in taking one of the classes at 3:25, 4:15, 5:15 or 6:15 (12 years and up), can sign up via email. Cost $40. (current Cyclones $30).
Keeping up with COVID
In response to the increase in COVID positive cases due to the Omicron variant, we will be exercising the following protocols to help keep our champions and families safe*.
Please do not come to class if you have tested positive for Covid, have any Covid related symptoms, have been in close contact with someone positive or are awaiting a test result.
NO SPECTATORS inside the dojang- Except when picking up your THUNDER child. Sorry, this is a tough one for everyone, but we need to keep the number of people inside to a minimum for everyone’s benefit.
3. Everyone inside must be wearing a properly fitted mask that covers the nose and chin securely while training. Please check your child’s mask regularly.
For added protection, you may want to use a higher grade mask or double mask.
4. Doors will be open at the dojang to provide added ventilation in addition to our HEPA filter system.
5. If you can’t come in person-

No sign up required. You may join any of these classes-
Please attend your Zoom class in your uniform with adequate space to train in your home. No kicking the coffee table or punching Mom’s favorite lamp!
6. All instructors and staff have or will test prior to returning to the dojang.
We encourage anyone with access to a test appointment or home test to test prior to your return and/or as often as possible.
*As the situation changes, our protocols will be adjusted accordingly.
With everyone’s understanding, support and cooperation, we have collectively navigated through these concerning times before and we can do this again!
